Crows Nest Official Re-Opening

After many years of hard work by scouts, families and supporters, the new Crows Nest was officially opened by our youngest scout Lily Morrissey and our oldest scout Eoghan Lavelle. The event was a great success, helped by our friends from the De La Salle Scout Pipe Band from Waterford and by the Irish Coast Guard helicopter. The day also included the Lord Mayor's Cup skiff race which was won by the Wednesday Troop.

Fry Cup

After a gap of eight years, the Fry Cup returned to the Troop. Well done to the team of Hugh McNally (Cox), Conor Fagan, Niall Conway, Luke Nolan, Naoise Dack and James O'Gorman.

Chief Scouts Award

The highlight of our Parents Evening was the presentation by the Chief Scout - Martin Burbridge - of the Chief Scouts Award to two of our stalwarts - Conor Murphy and Paul O'Dwyer. Conor and Paul have since gone on to become Adult Leaders in the Troop.
